Is there a difference between Tengchong Kanluoji and Kanluoji?
There is no difference between Tengchong Kanluoji and Kanluoji. Kanluoji, in Tengchong, the polar region, is also the root of tea culture. Kanluoji was founded in the Yuan Dynasty. Jizu Mountain in Dali is a natural place for Tengchong monks to travel. Passing through Songka Mountain, I saw that the clouds were light and foggy, and the water was green, so I built a temple in the forest. After the temple was built, a tea station was set up by the roadside to pour tea, which was handed down from generation to generation without interruption, hence the name: Shecha Temple. Tomorrow's Lunar New Year's Eve (1621-1628), the princess Tengyue climbed a branch and passed by. Tired and thirsty, she drank the tea of Shecha Temple like nectar, so she was given the name Ganlu, and the name of the temple was changed to Kanluoji. Xu Xiake traveled here and recorded that there were temples for tea. When the ridge faced north, he stayed there and waited for Kanluoji.
