Cold-water fish has a history of more than 100 million years and is called "living fossil in water". China is one of the countries with the largest species, the widest distribution and the richest resources of cold-water fish.
Wild cold-water fish in China include cold-water sturgeon Scooter, cold-water sturgeon Dassault and a small amount of cold-water sturgeon Sakhalin distributed in the middle reaches of Heilongjiang, Songhua River and lower reaches of Wusuli River, Chinese sturgeon, cold-water sturgeon Dassault and white-water sturgeon distributed in the Yangtze River and Jinsha River basins, naked-bellied sturgeon distributed in Yining, Suiding and Michal waters of Xinjiang, and distributed in Irtysh River, Bulento Sea and Wusuli River.
Healthy aquaculture of cold-water fish is an ecological comprehensive project, and maintaining a good ecological environment for fish is an important link. Therefore, the healthy culture of cold-water fish should improve and maintain the environmental conditions around the fish pond to reduce the adverse effects of the surrounding environment on fishery ecology.
