In the Northern and Southern Dynasties, there was a man named Jiang Bi in the Northern Qi Dynasty, whose date of birth and death was unknown.
The word Shi Qing was born in Kaocheng and Jiyang (now Lankao, Quan Min and Ren Dong County, Henan Province).
His father, Jiang Liangzhi, was a foreign minister.
"Southern History" records: "If you secrete less poverty, you will suffer in the daytime [zhuó xiè]. When Jiang Bi was a child, his family was very poor. Every day, he cuts wood to make the soles of clogs and exchanges money to support his family.
Jiang Bi loves reading, but he can't afford to light an oil lamp at home, so he has to climb on the roof and read by moonlight.
Later people called it "Jiang Bi chasing the moon".
Jiang Bi was born with "benevolence and righteousness" and his clothes were worn out. He was worried that lice (a human parasite) would starve to death, so he kept wearing rags and couldn't bear to take them off.
A few days later, the lice couldn't bear to drink the blood secreted by ginger, but they mysteriously disappeared. Since then, there have been no more lice in his life.
After her mother's death, Jiang Bi thought it was a great regret to be unable to support her. Since then, he has been reluctant to eat salmon, and he is reluctant to eat salmon that looks like a pregnant woman.
"Salmon" is salmon, shaped like a spindle.
Jiang Bi eats vegetables instead of cabbage. He thinks cabbage is still a living thing.
Later, Jiang Bi became an official in the Southern Qi State, attended the reading of classics by Xiao Zilin, king of Nankang (nineteen sons of Xiao Ze, king of Southern Qi), and was in charge of "Professor Kang Wang's Classics". They get along well and form a deep friendship.
After the Southern Qi Emperor usurped the throne, he slaughtered the children of Xiao's imperial clan.
Worried that Xiao Zilin would be persecuted, Jiang Bi went to Master Zhigong to predict good or bad luck. Master Zhigong knocked over a censer and said, "Everything is ruined."
Jiang Bi had to leave in disappointment.
Soon, Xiao Zilin was killed by Xiao Luan, and Jiang Bi went to offer condolences. Tears dried up and blood dried up.
Look at people burying Xiao Zilin.
When Jiang Bi died, some of his men had the same name as him. In order to distinguish him, people called him "Xiaojiangbi", and his good deeds were praised by later generations.
