According to legend, Gao Pinzhi, an old Chinese medicine doctor, told Li Liangui the secret recipe of Chinese herbal medicine to make bacon. Under the guidance of the old man, Li Liangui devoted himself to studying the procedures of dispensing, selecting meat, cutting meat, nourishing soup, mixing noodles and cooking. Because the sauce meat of the Li family is clean and rotten, and the pie is soft and crisp, people who eat it are full of praise: the pie rolls bacon, which is not enough to eat, so it is often full in Lishu Town, which is very popular with the masses.
1924, died of illness, and adopted son Li Yao (nephew, adopted by Li because he had no children) inherited his father's business, moved from pear tree to Siping with soup stock, and opened Gui Lian bacon pie shop. Later, a branch was added in the northeast market of siping road.
1950, Li Chunsheng, the son of Li Yao, inherited his ancestral business, moved Li Liangui bacon pie to Shenyang with an altar of soup stock, and opened a shop at the west end of the bustling Zhongjie. During the ten-year turmoil, the shop was smashed and sold rice and cauldrons instead.

So gradually, after customers tasted it, they felt that our bacon pie was unique, with special flavor and pleasant smell, and they were full of praise. In the Republic of China and the puppet Manchukuo period, commerce flourished. Although it is not crowded, the small room in our shop is also full.
Our management style is also different from other hotels. They come and go from day to night and make a lot of noise. Our shop doesn't open until ten o'clock in the morning and closes at three or four o'clock in the afternoon, and it becomes silent at night. We only sell one bite of pork bacon a day and never kill more and cook more. Sell more, serve more, and those who come late have to find another place to eat. For example, we smoked enough meat to kill pigs ourselves, and we would never go out to buy meat for fear of buying sick pigs or inferior meat. Even if the meat I bought is good enough for pigs, I'm afraid it won't fade and my skin will be hairy. That will ruin the reputation of our shop. If reputation is destroyed, economic resources will be damaged. Therefore, sick pigs and bad meat are our most taboo.
During the Puppet Manchuria, we added another place in the northeast market of siping road. At that time, the Japanese invaders imposed economic oppression for plunder and were not allowed to kill pigs themselves. Therefore, we must go to the butcher shop to buy meat. Whoever has good meat will buy it. If the meat is not good, we will never buy it and have to close down a lot. Although employees are paid if they don't start business, they are still full of grievances. Because he can get a tip of five or six yuan for a day's work, which is several times higher than their daily salary. They said to the outside world: "Our shopkeeper is too special. Without good meat, we won't accept business if we don't make money." In this way, it has helped us a lot and the reputation of the store is also great. Furthermore, customers come to our store and see that our bacon is very different from other places. The leather bag is golden yellow and transparent. When eating, the fat is tender and smooth, fat but not greasy; Lean meat is delicious and delicious, which makes people never tire of eating it. As a result, more people come every day, profits are increasing every day, and shops are gradually booming.
1950, my son Li Chunsheng opened another one in Shenyang. In order to keep the traditional characteristics of Li's bacon pie, Li Chunsheng is meticulous in making and selecting ingredients. When he chose pork, he used fresh pork with fat and thin from the front trough to the ribs, then rinsed it with water and alkali, soaked it in clear water for 6- 10 hours to remove blood and foul smell, then cut it into cubes and stewed it in a pot. Fennel is also added in summer and autumn to make the sauce meat more tender and delicious. At the same time, pour the broth, boil it with high fire, and simmer it slowly with low fire, so that the meat can be turned up and down and the floating foam can be thrown out in time. When the meat is cooked, take it out, drain the oil, put it in a smoking pot and smoke it with brown sugar. Cake is made by adding broth, salt and seasoning to flour to form soft dough. It takes a long time to sober up, and it is rolling and oily. Roll it a few times and bake it into a cake. Characterized by bacon fat but not greasy, thin but not firewood, fragrant and red; The pie is yellow and fragrant, and the layers are soft inside and crisp outside. Carry forward our old traditional business methods, adhere to the credibility and ensure the quality of cakes and meat, so the business is booming and famous at home and abroad. Shenyang is the political, economic and cultural center of northeast China. The establishment of Li Liangui Bacon Cake Shop in Shenyang laid an important foundation for Li Liangui to go to the whole country.
