Schrodinger was born in Vienna, Austria. A well-educated father inherited the family linoleum factory. Father pays attention to inducing and developing Schrodinger's intelligence, and is willing to satisfy children's curiosity and cultivate children's extensive interest in nature.
At the age of 1l, Schrodinger entered the preparatory school affiliated to Vienna College. Schrodinger's talent and learning ability soon appeared in the school. He likes math and physics and hates memorizing dates and historical events in those biographies. Schrodinger is always among the best in school because he has a wide range of knowledge and can answer teachers' questions. He is not the kind of person who spends a lot of spare time studying hard. He can immediately grasp the key points of the teacher's explanation and do exercises immediately, without waiting to go home to solve them further. He spent a lot of time learning his favorite English, Greek and Latin.
He is very interested in ancient Greek philosophy. In his class, there is a notebook of Memorandum of Greek Studies, in which Schrodinger briefly describes the development of Greek philosophy from Thales in Miletus to Plato. Schrodinger has a wide range of interests and is versatile. In addition to participating in sports activities, he is also fascinated by drama performances and plays, and is a frequent visitor and loyal audience of city theaters. His love for literature is not only manifested in his love for reading, but also in his own creation. 1949 published a collection of personal poems. He also translated the famous epics of Homer, an ancient Greek poet, into English, or translated the poems of Provence in ancient France into German for rest and recreation. In his speech, he can express himself in four different languages, German, English, French and Spanish, according to audiences of different nationalities.
Because of his erudition, he can thoroughly analyze profound problems and dissect complex phenomena simply and clearly in his research. Perhaps because of his rich knowledge, it is not difficult to start learning, and he can even have a lot of energy to easily involve other fields. 1944, Schrodinger organized his lectures on popular science into a booklet "What is life-the physical view of living cells". In his book, he predicted that the theories and methods of life science are facing a major breakthrough, and the research of life science will go deep into the molecular level. This book has a great influence, and a large number of young people are attracted to the study and research of life science. Therefore, this book is called "the opportunity of biological revolution".
He completely constructed the wave mechanics system in quantum mechanics, and made great achievements in almost all frontier fields of contemporary theoretical physics, such as statistical mechanics, general relativity and cosmology, unified field theory, and even had an important impact in the fields of biology, physiology and meteorology. At the same time, Schrodinger is a philosopher and scientist, and he has written many philosophical works.
