Materials:

400g beef, 2 potatoes, 1 spoon Pixian bean paste, 1 spoon star anise, 2 cloves garlic, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 2 dried peppers, half carrots, 0.5 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 spoon cooking wine, a little salt and a little sugar.

How to cook potatoes with beef;

Cut the fresh beef into small pieces, soak it in cold water for half an hour to remove the smell of blood, then put it in a pot with cold water, add a spoonful of cooking wine and a piece of ginger, boil it out, take it out and rinse it quickly with warm water.

Cut potatoes into small pieces, carrots into small pieces (carrots are used up at home)

Add a little oil to the pot, add garlic, stir-fry shallots, add a spoonful of bean paste, stir-fry red oil, add beef, star anise and dried Chili, stir-fry for 30 seconds, add a little cooking wine, soy sauce, consume oil, stir-fry evenly, pour in hot water, cook beef with high fire, cover the lid and simmer for about 30 minutes.

In another pot, add a little oil, add potatoes and carrots and stir-fry for two minutes. Add a little soy sauce and a few drops of soy sauce to color.

Stew beef for 30 minutes, add fried potatoes and carrots.

Bring the fire to a boil, turn to low heat and continue stewing for about ten minutes until the potatoes are cooked.

A little sugar, fresh with white pepper, juice with strong fire, taste it and see if there is any salt. I don't usually put it down.

Save a little soup, sprinkle with chopped green onion and serve.

Tip: Never stew potatoes and beef together, they will turn into paste. The potatoes are fried separately, which looks better. Put potatoes in the last ten minutes, so that both potatoes and beef look fresh.
