Although he is very young, he is diligent and is loved by long-term workers. Therefore, the long-term workers try to take care of him not to do heavy work. The rich man was very dissatisfied when he knew it, so he dismissed him and went home. Zhu Yuanzhang had no choice but to mix with the little beggars in front of a nearby temple. The workers sympathized with him. They steal some meals and fresh tofu from the rich man's house every day and hide them in the disturbed haystack in the temple. Then Zhu Yuanzhang quietly took them away and shared them with his friends. Soon, his parents and brothers died one after another, and Zhu Yuanzhang became more lonely, so he became a monk. Because Zhu Yuanzhang likes tofu best, at first, the long-term workers sent it to hide in the haystack. Once a temple was busy doing temple fairs for several days. At the end of the temple fair, Zhu Yuanzhang remembered to pick up tofu and found a layer of white hair on it. He took it back to the temple and secretly fried it, which was more delicious. Later, he often made tofu in this way.

Later, when Zhu Yuanzhang became emperor, fried tofu became a necessary dish in the imperial kitchen. Fried hairy tofu has become a world famous dish.

"Huizhou hairy tofu, you can't spit it with a slap in the face." According to legend, in ancient times, there was a student named Wang Zhihe who failed the list many times. He believed that he only had the life to sell tofu, so he took over his parents' tofu shop and started the tofu business. As a result, one day the weather was sultry and tofu was unsalable. He spread the extra tofu on the straw and sprinkled it with salt water, intending to eat it himself in the future. A few days later, because of many things, he forgot to go outside the cloud nine. Remember, tofu is very long and thick. Inadvertently, he broke off a little with his hand and licked it with his tongue, and actually tasted an unspeakable salty and sticky taste. So he put some oil and seasoning in the pot and fried it. It was delicious at that time. From then on, he devoted himself to the business of hairy tofu, which grew bigger and bigger, became the capital, and was also included in the imperial diet, becoming a palace delicacy.
