Brown sugar glutinous rice and lotus root need to be boiled over high heat first, then simmered over low heat for 3 hours.
Ingredients:
2 knots of lotus root, 200 grams of glutinous rice, 100 grams of brown sugar
Method:
1. Wash the glutinous rice and wet it Soak in water for four hours.
2. Clean the lotus root segments and cut off one-fifth of the head.
3. Put the soaked glutinous rice into the lotus root hole, and use chopsticks to rub it in while stuffing.
4. Stuff everything tightly and secure both ends with toothpicks.
5. Add brown sugar to the pot, then add rock sugar and stir.
6. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer for 3 hours.
7. Finally, slice the cooked brown sugar glutinous rice and lotus root into slices.
