Qinhuangdao is a comprehensive transportation hub city in China, with Jingha Expressway, Coastal Expressway, Qin Cheng Expressway, 102 National Highway and 205 National Highway running through the whole territory. Liu Heng: Jingjian Line, Lianglong Line, Triple Track, 102, National Highway 205 and Coastal Highway; Nine lines are the supplements of the road network skeleton, mainly including Qinglong Line, Shuangniu Line, Shanhaiguan Line, Haicang Road Double Line, Shen Jing Expressway Development Zone Line, Nannan Line, Fuliu Line, Luchang Line and Yanxin Line.
By 2022, Erqin Expressway, Qin Cheng Railway, Bohai Intercity Railway, Qin Jing Intercity and Qin Jing Expressway are under construction and planning. The railways in Qinhuangdao are jointly managed by Beijing Railway Bureau, taiyuan railway administration Railway Bureau and Shenyang Railway Bureau.
Five railway trunk lines, namely Qinhuangdao-Shenyang Passenger Dedicated Line, beijing-harbin railway, jinshan railway, Daqin Railway and Tianjin-Qinhuangdao Passenger Dedicated Line, pass through the territory. There are Qinhuangdao Railway Station, Beidaihe Railway Station, Shanhaiguan Railway Station, Changli Railway Station, Lulong Railway Station and Funing Railway Station.
