Legal basis: Article 45 of the Noise Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) prohibits any unit or individual from using tweeters in areas where noise-sensitive buildings are concentrated in urban areas. Organizing entertainment, assembly and other activities in urban streets, squares, parks and other public places, and using audio equipment may produce excessive volume that may interfere with the surrounding living environment, must abide by the provisions of the local public security organs.
Article 58. In violation of the provisions of this law, anyone who commits any of the following acts shall be given a warning by the public security organ and may also be fined: (1) using a tweeter in an area where noise-sensitive buildings are concentrated in urban areas; (two) in violation of the provisions of the local public security organs, organize entertainment, assembly and other activities in urban streets, squares, parks and other public places, and use audio equipment to produce excessive volume that interferes with the surrounding living environment.
