Qinglangang Mangrove Reserve in Hainan Province
The geographical coordinates of the center of the nature reserve are199 34' north latitude and110 45' east longitude, which are located along the coast of Qinglan Port in Wenchang City. The protected area is 2,948 hectares and the forest area is 2,732 hectares. The jurisdiction includes Fengjia Port and Puqian Port. The nature reserve was approved in 198 1 year. Originally a county-level nature reserve, it was upgraded to a provincial nature reserve.

There is a management station in the reserve, which is located in Touwan Village. Although the total protected area of the reserve is not as good as that of Dongzhaigang Reserve, the forest area is large and the forest age is long, and many forest forms show the characteristics of primitive forests. If there are lotus forests over 100 years old, and some have DBH of 1.2m, the stand structure is complex, and many epiphytes and lianas are flying in it.

In addition to the same mangrove species as Dongzhai Port, there are unique mangroves in the reserve, forming a magnificent landscape along the coast of Xiacun Village. You can see a small community here. The snake-shaped breathing roots of Guo Mu socks are typical here. There are four kinds of Sonneratia naturally distributed here, namely, Sonneratia beizunensis, Sonneratia macrophylla and Sonneratia hainanensis, and their bamboo shoot-like respiratory roots form the obvious colors of these kinds. It is rare in Dongzhaigang natural community, but it is often accompanied by other mangrove plants at the edge of tidal flat forest in this reserve. Mangrove plants such as sea mango and sea lacquer are also easier to find in the natural community of Dongzhai Port. Obviously, the species diversity here is superior to Dongzhai Port, and it is typical and rare, which has great potential scientific research significance.
