Ingredients
200g pig tail, 200g lean pork, 50g dried white fungus, 50g fresh lily, 100g yam, 5 red dates, 5 raw meat, 1 teaspoon salt (5g)
p>Method
Soak the dried white fungus in warm water for 30 minutes until the white fungus softens. Remove the base and impurities of the white fungus and tear it into moderately sized pieces for later use. Peel the yam and cut into cubes. Set aside.
Cut lean pork and pig tail into 4cm square chunks, put them into a cooking pot, add an appropriate amount of cold water (just enough to cover the meat), and bring to a boil over high heat. Remove the lean meat and pig tail pieces and rinse them with cold water and set aside.
Put all the ingredients into the soup pot, add 2500ml cold water, cook over medium heat for 1 hour, then reduce to low heat and continue to cook for 2 hours. Add salt to taste before drinking.
Tips
This Laohuo soup is very good for strengthening the body, harmonizing the stomach and spleen, helping digestion and lowering blood pressure. Using natural mineral water when making soup can supplement minerals and trace elements. At the same time, the trace elements in natural mineral water can play a very nutritionally complementary role with the ingredients in the soup.
Fresh lilies: What we usually call food lilies are the bulbs of Liliaceae plants such as Lilium tenuifolia and Musk lily. They are white and scaly in color, with even and thick flesh, white color and no black petals. The one is the best. Lily has the effects of clearing away the heart and calming the nerves, relieving cough and moisturizing the lungs. The amount of fresh lily in this soup costs about 4 yuan.
Yam: Common yam has thick flesh, slightly cylindrical shape, gray-brown skin and fibrous roots. Yam has a very good effect of strengthening the spleen and lungs, strengthening the kidney and replenishing essence. Dried yam is commonly known as yam, so when there is no fresh yam in the soup, yam can be used instead. The amount of yam used in this soup costs about 1 yuan.
