The first step is to establish a framework. Before making a large-scale snow sculpture, it is necessary to have accurate design drawings, build a wooden frame according to the drawings, and then fill it with compacted snow. This wooden frame can also be used as a framework for the whole of snow sculpture.
Step 2: Dismantle the frame.
When the compacted snow becomes solid, the wooden frame can be removed, and then the snow can be finely carved.
The third step is to carve.
Axes and shovels are necessary tools for sketching snow sculpture, and further details can be considered on this basis. At the same time, you should have a small model at hand as a sample. The relatively warm weather during the day will make snow sculpture melt and become fragile, so many sculptors choose to work at night. Artificial snow has higher viscosity and humidity than natural snow, so it is easier to make.
The fourth step, the final finishing.
When the whole carving work is completed, the snow and ice chips on the snow sculpture should be disposed of in time, and all the wooden frames can be removed together.
