Jinjunmei Tea is a branch of black tea variety Zhongzhengshan, which originated in Mu Tong Village, Wuyishan City, Fujian Province. In 2005, Jiang Yuanxun, the 24th inheritor of Zhengshan Small Black Tea, led a team to develop a new variety of black tea through innovation and integration on the basis of traditional technology.
The origin of its name: Jin Junmei takes the first batch of spring buds as raw materials and harvests them once a year, which is as rare as gold, hence the name "gold"; Because its raw materials are collected from the mountains of Mutong Village, and I hope this tea can spread as quickly as galloping horses, it is named "Jun"; Drinking tea is good for health and longevity, so it is named "Mei", which means longevity. After careful consideration, it was named "Jin Junmei".

Its main tea-producing areas have an average elevation of about 1.200m, annual average foggy days of1.20 days, annual average temperature of 1- 18℃, annual average precipitation of about 2000mm and annual average humidity of 80.
