Two years after the publication of the Ninth Symphony, Beethoven devoted himself to the creation of string quartets, and completed five works from 12 to 16, as well as a big fugue. The last string quartet Op. 135 is Beethoven's legacy. But unfortunately, this day will not last. 1826, Beethoven quarreled with his brother and went home, catching a cold on the way.

1March 26th, 827, 17: 45 Beethoven died. It is said that Beethoven said on his deathbed, "Applause, my friend, the comedy is over." This last sentence was later used by Italian composer Leon Cabano in his work "The Clown" to end the tragic drama. The funeral was held on the 29th.
