Brief introduction of Wang Wei
Wang Wei
Born in 70 1 a.d., Han nationality, born in Qixian county, Shanxi province, was a poet in the Tang Dynasty, alias "Shi Fo". In the ninth year of Kaiyuan (72 1), he was a scholar and was appointed as Tai Lecheng. There are more than 400 poems today. Wang Wei is proficient in Buddhism. Buddhism has a Vimalakīrti classic, which was told by Vimalakīrti to his disciples. This is the origin of Wang Wei's name and words. Wang Wei's poems, paintings and calligraphy are all famous and versatile. Music is also very proficient. Greatly influenced by Zen.
Wang Wei's name is Shi Fo and his name is Vimalakīrti. Vimalakīrti is a monk of Mahayana Buddhism and lives at home. He is a famous bodhisattva at home, and his free translation is notoriously clean and pollution-free. It can be seen that Wang Wei's name has an indissoluble bond with Buddhism. Before Wang Wei's death, people thought that he was a "contemporary poet who was good at Zen." After his death, he got the title of "Shi Fo". Wang Wei was born in a devout Buddhist family. According to Wang Wei's "Please Make Shizhuang a Temple", "Cui Shi, the first mother of Boling County, has been a teacher for more than 30 years, eating brown clothes and vegetables, practicing meditation, enjoying living in the mountains and seeking peace." Wang Wei was influenced by his mother since he was a child. At the same time, according to Volume 25 of Notes of Wang Youcheng, there is an article "Taming, a Daoguang Zen Master of Dadianfu Temple", which describes the relationship between the poet and a famous Buddhist monk and Daoguang Zen Master: "After ten years", it can be seen that Wang Wei really has an indissoluble bond with Buddhism and lived a monk-like life in his later years. According to the book of the Old Tang Dynasty, "In the capital, I was taught to wear no clothes in Changzhai, and I wanted to measure emptiness with tiny details, so I just wanted to know where the relic was." Cai, a dozen monks have a meal every day. They enjoy mysterious conversations. There is nothing in their den but a teapot and mortar, and they are tied to the bed by boxes.
