Following Lin Bo, I climbed a mountain in Liangcuo, Guling, and saw an ancient villa. Due to the recent rain, the fog on the mountain is very thick, and the stone walls of the villa are looming, which is very artistic.

When I entered the villa, I was attracted by the fireplace used for heating in the hall. The appearance of this fireplace has distinct European characteristics, but the lotus figure made of stone above the fireplace has the charm of China traditional culture.

According to local people, this villa may be the summer residence of the head of the British Consulate in Fuzhou. It has a history of hundreds of years. After the foreigners moved out, the locals used to live in it, but now they are abandoned.

Global Public Welfare Society is also a famous historical building in Guling, and is known as the earliest club in Fuzhou. Yesterday, I found this European stone house in a remote ravine in Guling. Because of its age, this stone house is a bit shabby, but its characteristics still exist. The walls of the stone house are made of stones of different colors, such as blue, black and white, which reveal the bohemian style everywhere.

According to local residents, after simple transformation, this stone house has now become a club for the elderly to entertain here.

Mr. Chen, a local, said that as the earliest western-style club in Fuzhou, the Global Public Welfare Society has a dance hall, a dressing room and a dressing room. And the facilities are perfect. In addition to being a leisure club, Global Public Welfare Society also organized the first expatriate hospital in Guling (the predecessor of Guling Health Center), but in the 1950s, foreigners returned to China one after another, and Global Public Welfare Society was deserted. There used to be seven tennis courts next to the National Public Welfare Society, but now they are all abandoned and turned into vegetable gardens.

The old post office in Guling is another famous historical building in Guling. 1902 is opened, which is opened every year after Dragon Boat Festival and closed after August 15th of the lunar calendar. It belongs to seasonal post office, juxtaposed with Lushan post office. It belongs to the five famous "Summer Post Offices" in China.

Yesterday, I tried to find the ruins of this post office. Unfortunately, local residents told reporters that the ruins of the post office have been lost, leaving only an ancient well next to the post office. Under the guidance of the local people, I found this ancient well, the handwriting on the outer wall of the well circle, and I can also see the six concave carvings of "outside, inside and public". It is understood that this ancient well has a history of 100 years.

Yesterday, I followed the guide to find the swimming pool used by foreigners in Guling. Lin Bo told me that this square swimming pool has been abandoned and turned into a fish pond.

According to the local old man, the swimming pool is made of cement and the water is taken from the mountain stream. There is also a men's and women's locker room next to the swimming pool. The swimming pool is inclined, divided into deep water area and shallow water area, and the deepest part is estimated to be more than two meters.

Near Guling Mountain Villa, I also found the old church of that year. Although this church is not as grand as a modern church, its thick walls and wide stone corridors convey a heavy sense of history.

Huang, a local old man, said that the earliest church was built in 19 19, mainly to provide places for foreign missionaries and believers in foreign consulates in Fuzhou. Later, the second church in Guling was established as a place for religious activities of local believers in Guling. After liberation, the religious activities in Guling gradually decreased.

Nowadays, near the old church, a more modern new church has sprung up, and the old and new churches complement each other, forming the intersection of "past" and "present".
