1. Ginger, star anise, pepper, rock sugar
2. Add eight bowls of soy sauce and two bowls of water. After the fire boils, turn to low heat and cook for 5 minutes until the ingredients are delicious (half a chicken, if it is a whole chicken, all ingredients should be doubled).
3. When the soup is boiling, add the washed chicken and cook for about 6 minutes without covering the fire. Pour the soup on the chicken and turn it over.
4. Turn to low heat, cover and soak for about 20 minutes, then naturally cool to your favorite temperature and eat.
The remaining soup can be used as umami soy sauce. Don't waste it. It's delicious.
