Don't drink bone soup
Dietary principle: light-based, high-calorie, high-vitamin, high-protein, digestible diet, it is not advisable to drink greasy food such as bone soup. This stage is the stage of inflammation regression, and there will be congestion, swelling, pain, temperature rise and other phenomena in the injured part. Fracture healing is mainly based on swelling and removing blood stasis. Vegetables, fruits, milk, rice porridge, pasta, etc. Should eat, avoid eating sour, greasy and irritating food. After the illness is stable, nutritious foods, such as eggs, fish, animal liver, carrots, lean meat, bean products and other foods with high calcium content, will nourish the liver and kidney, strengthen tendons and bones, and promote fracture healing.
Mid-term after fracture (2-4 weeks):
Vitamin additive
Dietary principle: this period is the callus formation period, and the blood stasis is partially absorbed. The treatment is mainly to relieve pain, remove blood stasis and promote tissue regeneration, and set bones and tendons. In order to meet the needs of callus growth, the diet should be changed from light to appropriate high nutrition supplement, and more high nutrition, high protein and high calorie diets should be supplemented. Bone soup, Tianqi stewed chicken and animal liver can be added to the initial recipe, and some vegetables rich in vitamin C such as tomatoes, amaranth, vegetables, Chinese cabbage and carrots can be added appropriately to promote the growth of fibrous callus. At the same time, you can bask in the sun more to facilitate the absorption of calcium. If you can't bask in the sun outdoors, you should supplement vitamin D or milk and yogurt.
Late fracture (more than 5 weeks):
Eliminate dietary taboos
Dietary principle: this period is the mature period of callus, the swelling of fracture is basically eliminated, and callus has begun to grow, which is the late stage of fracture. Treatment should be supplemented by nourishing liver and kidney, qi and blood, promoting the formation of more solid callus, making the adjacent joints of the fracture move freely and flexibly, and restoring their previous functions. Diet should be based on nourishing. Besides the normal diet, recipes can also be supplemented with old hen soup, pig bone soup, sheep bone soup, deer tendon soup, stewed fish and so on. However, it should be noted that you should not drink a lot of alcohol on the grounds that drinking promotes blood circulation. Alcohol will damage the metabolism of bone tissue, making it lose the ability to grow and repair the damage, and alcohol will also affect the repair effect of drugs on bones.
Dietary taboos of fracture patients
Avoid blindly supplementing calcium. Many people think that patients with fractures should take plenty of calcium supplements. In fact, it is not advisable to rush to supplement calcium within two weeks after fracture surgery. Because after the fracture, the broken end of the fracture will release a lot of calcium. At the same time, due to the fracture site, it is easy to cause disuse decalcification of whole or local bones.
Avoid eating indigestible food. Fracture patients are prone to constipation. Because I have to rest, I have less activity and less gastrointestinal peristalsis. If you can't digest food easily, it will slow down gastrointestinal peristalsis and aggravate constipation.
Avoid eating too much sugar. Eating too much sugar will lead to the decrease of vitamin B 1 in the body, while insufficient vitamin B 1 will affect the nerve and muscle activities of patients, thus affecting the recovery of patients with fractures.
