1. Writing pen

GoodNotes provides three kinds of pens: pen, ballpoint pen and brush. The differences between the three are as follows:

Personal suggestion: take "ballpoint pen" as the main content and "pen" as the title. As for the "brush", I use it occasionally when painting.

2. Eraser

The eraser of GoodNotes has two particularly useful functions:

One is to "erase the whole pen". When this option is selected, when the edge of the selected stroke is erased, the entire stroke will be erased.

The other is "Erase only the highlighter marker". Many times, the highlighter is under the text. You can only erase the marks of the highlighter on the back with it.

3. Highlighter pen

The highlighter of GoodNotes has two purposes: after inserting a PDF or a picture, it will be automatically placed under the text when using the highlighter.

At the same time, it also provides the option of "drawing a straight line" to avoid distortion.

4. Shape tools

When taking notes, you often have to draw some sketches. The "shape tool" provided by GoodNotes can help us draw regular shapes.

At the same time, it also provides a "fill color" option. When selected, the shape will be automatically filled with bright colors of the same color.

8. Insert a text box

If others speak too fast to write, you can consider inserting a text box and entering text through the keyboard. GoodNotes also provides some basic typesetting tools, such as bolding, underlining and alignment.

9. Demonstration tools

If you want to communicate with others or make a simple report, you can use the "demo tool". It provides two types of markers: linear and dot. It will disappear after use, leaving no trace on the page.

At a group meeting, I projected the iPad on the projector and demonstrated it directly, and the effect was not bad.

10. Amplifier

If the words are small, you can choose "magnifying glass". At this time, there will be a larger text input box at the bottom, which is more convenient for writing.
