Wang Zengqi, a native of Gaoyou, Jiangsu Province, was born on March 5, 1920. Grandfather was a "tribute" in the late Qing Dynasty (slightly higher than "scholar"). Wang Zengqi's father, Wang Jusheng (1897— 1959), is versatile. He is not only proficient in calligraphy and painting, but also a gymnast and football player who is good at horizontal bar. He has learned many musical instruments and likes to keep birds. The formation of Wang Zengqi's aesthetic consciousness is related to his watching his father draw pictures since he was a child. His father's easygoing and compassion had a great influence on Wang Zengqi's later creation. 1939 —— 1943 studied in China Literature Department of Southwest Associated University. After graduation, I taught in private middle schools in Kunming and Shanghai. Later, he worked in Beijing History Museum. After the peaceful liberation of Peiping, he went to Guangzhou and Wuhan with the Four Fields Working Group of the People's Liberation Army, and finally returned to work in the Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles. 1954, transferred to China Folk Literature and Art Research Association. From 1950 to 1958, he has been the editor of literary and artistic publications. Zeng edited Beijing Literature and Art, Talking, Adultery and Singing and Folk Literature. 1958 was wrongly classified as a rightist and sent to Shalingzi Agricultural Science Research Institute in Zhangjiakou area as an agricultural worker for four years. 1962 was transferred to Beijing Peking Opera Troupe as an editor at the beginning.
Wang Zengqi began to publish his works at the age of 20. When I was young, I was deeply influenced by western modernism. In his later years, his works gradually faded.
