From the perspective of traditional culture, there is a folk saying that the third day of the third year is a good start, also known as the "Xiao Nian Dynasty". The Qing Gulu's "Lu Xiaonian Dynasty in Ting Anne" records: "On the third day of the first month, we will not sweep the floor, beg for fire or draw water with the Xiao Nian Dynasty." On that day, there was a well room next to the house. In the morning, it offered incense and vegetarian dishes to Inoue, and the red note sealed by Inoue on New Year's Eve was removed and named Jing Kai.

In some places, people use dustpans and brooms at Sanyou intersection to show poverty. In the old society, this day was also called "Mid-Autumn Festival", so going out or visiting relatives and friends was taboo.
