Dawenhe, known as Wenshui in ancient times. Dawen River is the only tributary of the Yellow River in Shandong and the largest river in Tai 'an. Most rivers flow from west to east, but Dawen River flows from east to west because of the terrain. It is also the largest backflow river in Shandong Province. Dawen River originates from the northern foot of Gu Xuan, and is known as the head of the seventy-two Yimeng River. The upper reaches of Dawen River are called Mouwen River, and it flows through Xintai and Laiwu to Nachai River in Dawenkou, Tai 'an, which is called Dawen River. From east to west, it flows through Laiwu, Xintai, Taishan, Daiyue, Feicheng, Ningyang, Wenshang, Dongping and other counties and cities, and then flows into the Yellow River through Dongping Lake, which is the boundary river between Feicheng County and Ningyang County, with a total length of 208 kilometers and a drainage area of 8,536 square kilometers. From Dawenkou in Daiyue District to Daicunba in Dongping County is the middle reaches, and below Daicunba is the downstream, which is now the Daqing River. The middle reaches of Dawen River, with a length of 12km, enter from the south of Zhucheng Village, Jieshan Township, Dongping County, and flow through Guo Zhuang in Dongyang, Guo Zhuang in Xiyang, Houkoukou, Qiankoukou, Qicun and Liusuo to Daicunba, which is the reach under Dongping's jurisdiction. Dawen River is a seasonal river, and its discharge varies greatly. The flood control discharge is 7,000 cubic meters per second, the average annual runoff is 65.438+88.3 million cubic meters, and the sediment concentration is 0.53-3.654.38+0.2 kg per cubic meter.
