Provisions on the management of food safety and nutrition and health in schools:

Article 1 In order to ensure the food safety, nutrition and health of students and faculty in centralized dining at school, and strengthen supervision and management, these Provisions are formulated in accordance with the Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as the Food Safety Law), the Education Law of the People's Republic of China, and the Regulations for the Implementation of the Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China.

Article 2 These Provisions shall apply to the management of food safety, nutrition and health of centralized meals in schools and kindergartens (hereinafter referred to as schools) at all levels that carry out academic education. The term "centralized dining" as mentioned in these Provisions refers to the behavior of the school to provide food to students and faculty in the form of feeding or outsourcing food (including ordering food from feeding units).

Article 3 The principle of giving priority to prevention, monitoring the whole process, territorial management and school implementation shall be implemented in centralized dining in schools, and a working mechanism of division of responsibilities among education, food safety supervision and management, health and health departments shall be established.

Article 4 Centralized dining in schools shall adhere to the principle of public welfare and convenience, and improve the school food safety risk prevention and control system around key links such as procurement, storage, processing, distribution and meal supply, so as to ensure food safety and promote nutrition and health.

Article 5 Schools shall, in accordance with the provisions of food safety laws and regulations and the requirements of healthy China strategy, establish and improve relevant systems, carry out campus food safety responsibilities, and carry out publicity and education on food safety and nutrition and health.
