1. Qianling Mountain Park

If you need to breathe fresh air, play with monkeys happily and nervously, and feel the comfortable life of Guiyang people, Qianling Mountain Park, the first mountain in southern Guizhou, provides a one-stop park experience, which is only 1.5 kilometers away from the city center, which is one of the important reasons why Guiyang is called "forest city".
I suggest you go up the mountain and visit Guiyang city skyline by cable car when you go down. It takes about 30 minutes to reach Hongfu Temple at the top of the mountain through Wan Sanling Long Tunnel and along the path behind Qianling Lake and Revolutionary Martyrs Monument.

2. Jiaxiu Building

It was built in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. It is located on a boulder in Nanming River. Fuyu Bridge connects the two banks of the river, so it is called "Aoji Fuyu". Whenever night falls, this ancient building with three floors, three eaves and four corners is covered with neon lights and becomes a favorite photographic subject of Guiyang people.
South of Fuyu Bridge is Cuiwei Garden. This building was built in the Xuande period of the Ming Dynasty, and now it has become a teahouse. Many local people like to gather here to drink tea and chat and enjoy the scenery of Nanming River. Take bus 15 or 34 and get off at Jiaxiulou Station.
3. Wenchang Pavilion

This used to be the old east gate of Guiyang ancient city. It was built in the Ming Dynasty. In 2006, it was included in the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units together with Jiaxiulou. Changge, located at the east gate of Yuecheng, was originally built in memory of Emperor Wenchang.
You might as well climb to the highest point of the restored East City Wall and see what it looks like, and notice the unique pyramid roof structure with three floors, three eaves and nine corners, as well as the attic of traditional buildings in China, where all corners are equidistant. Changge is shaped by the highest meaning of "nine" in Zhouyi, which is also a major feature here. After that, you can enter the building through Wushengmen in the southwest. There is a sketch of the building structure on the side wall.
4. Northern Catholic Church
The old buildings in Guiyang will be demolished soon. Fortunately, this architectural model of combining Chinese and western styles has been preserved. The church we see today was built by the French missionary Babel Lex in 1876.
The five-story bell tower contrasts with the cross above the main hall. Outside the window are colorful landscapes, flowers and birds.
5. Guizhou Provincial Museum

This modern building with a building area of over 45,000 square meters is magnificent and unique in shape. It has never fallen behind the Guiyang financial exhibition area with many high-rise buildings. After reading the ethnic exhibits and bronze porcelain with rural customs, looking around on the platform outside the provincial museum will have a strong feeling of returning to modern society.
There are three permanent exhibitions in this museum. One is the National Guizhou Exhibition. The exhibition of the ancient kingdom won the children's love. The most dazzling of Guizhou History Exhibition is bronze chariots and horses, which are the treasures of the town hall. This cultural relic of the Eastern Han Dynasty consists of about 300 parts. The thickness of the carport is only 0. 1mm, which is one of the most exquisite and complete chariots and horses unearthed in Han tombs in China so far.

sour soup
