1 Gulangyu
Gulangyu Island, formerly known as Yuanshazhou and also known as Yuanzhouzai, was called Wulongyu in the Southern Song Dynasty. It is a small island, named after a sea-eroded cave in the southwest of the island that was hit by waves like a drum, and enjoys the reputation of "sea garden".
