Hemolytic jaundice:

The most common cause of hemolytic jaundice is ABO hemolysis, which is caused by the incompatibility of blood types between mother and fetus. The mother's blood type is 0, and the fetal blood type is A or B, which is the most common cause of jaundice. Others, such as mother's blood type A and fetal blood type B or AB; It is rare that the mother's blood type is B and the fetal blood type is A or AB, and the jaundice caused is mild. In this way, some parents will be very nervous and worry that their children will have ABO hemolysis. In fact, it should be noted that not all newborns with ABO system blood group incompatibility will have hemolysis. It is reported that the incidence of ABO blood group incompatibility hemolysis in newborns is 1 1.9%. Neonatal hemolytic jaundice is characterized by jaundice within 24 hours after birth, and it is getting worse gradually.
