How to feed carrots to your baby
1. Carrot and white rice porridge
Ingredients: 1 carrot, half a small bowl of rotten white rice porridge. Method: Clean the carrots, peel them and cook them, then press them with white rice porridge into a puree. You can also use a juicer to puree them, and then heat them to feed your baby. Friendly reminder: You can also cook the carrots and white rice together until they are overcooked, then crush them with a spoon and let them cool before feeding them to your baby.
2. Carrot fragrant puree
Ingredients: half a fresh carrot. Method: First clean the carrots, cook or steam them, then let them cool and peel them, then use a clay press to crush them into a paste, then you can feed them to your baby. A little reminder: Although carrots are nutritious, it’s best to eat them in moderation. If you feed your baby too much, the skin will easily turn yellow.
3. Carrot and egg porridge
Ingredients: half a carrot, 1 egg, 50 grams of white rice, an appropriate amount of water, and a little salt. Method: First clean the white rice, soak it for 30 minutes, then put it in a pot and simmer it slowly. Peel the carrots and dice them finely and cook them in a pot with the rice. After the white rice porridge is cooked, add egg drops to it and mix well. Finally, add a little salt and let it cool before feeding it to your baby. Friendly reminder: If you fry the carrots in vegetable oil in advance and cook them in porridge, they will be more nutritious.

Principles of adding complementary foods to babies
1. Milk and dairy products are the main foods for babies. The daily milk consumption is about 600 to 800 ml, not more than 1000 ml. Eat 3 meals a day, gradually increase to 2/3 bowl (250ml/bowl) for each meal.
2. Observe the baby’s stool. If diarrhea occurs, it indicates that the baby has indigestion and needs to stop adding it. If there is undigested food in the stool, you need to reduce the food intake or make the food smaller.
3. Don’t overfeed. For babies under 1 year old, the main source of nutritional intake is still milk. If you feed too much complementary food, your baby may automatically reduce his milk intake.
4. Change food frequently. Your baby will get bored of eating the same food all the time. When he refuses to eat his favorite foods, it means he needs to change his taste.
5. Avoid mixing food. Do not mix a variety of foods together so that it will be difficult to find the allergenic food if your baby develops an allergy. Less salt and no sugar.
