Suzhou Silk Museum is the first professional silk museum in China, and now it is a national third-class museum. Located in Suzhou North Shouta Scenic Area, it is open to the public free of charge. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday at 9:00- 17:00( 16:00) and closed every Monday (except national holidays).

The theme of the Silk Museum building is the Silk Road. Suzhou is not only a garden city, but also a silk house. Grasp the historical connection between the ancient Silk Road and the modern Silk City, and reflect the open consciousness of cultural exchanges between the East and the West. The overall color is mainly white, which reflects the true colors of silk.
