Sugar cane matures around October.

Sugar cane usually ripens around October and can continue to ripen until March to April the following year. The closer it gets to winter, the sweeter it tastes and the better the flavor will be. However, cultivation techniques are more advanced nowadays, and most of the fruit can be grown in greenhouses that can control the temperature, so it is available in all seasons.

It is mostly planted in the spring between February and April, and no later than April. However, some areas can also be planted in the fall, specifically between August and September, not too early or too late, the recommendation is to start planting in late August.

Normally, those planted in the spring will mature between May and July, while those planted in the fall will have to wait until December. It is suitable for planting in areas with a big temperature difference between summer and winter, and is mostly cultivated in Sichuan, Hainan, Guangdong and Yunnan in China.
