Lantern Festival is not a legal holiday. The legal holidays in China include New Year (1 day), Spring Festival (three days on the first day, the second day and the third day of the first lunar month), Tomb-Sweeping Day (Tomb-Sweeping Day 1 day), Labor Day (May 1 day) and Dragon Boat Festival (Dragon Boat Festival 1 day). Mid-Autumn Festival (closed on the Lunar Mid-Autumn Festival 1 day), National Day (closed on 10/2, 3 days), Children's Day (closed on June 1 day, 1 day for children under 4 years old 1 day), and Lantern Festival, also called Lantern Festival, is one of the traditional festivals in China. Celebrated on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month, but not included in the above legal holidays.
