Sowing time of colorful pepper
Colorful Pepper Varieties: The common varieties are Venus, Century Red, Andy, Cone Pepper, cherry pepper and Lantern Pepper.
Sowing time: Five-colored peppers can be sowed in the middle and late March in spring, or from late April to early May in summer. Before sowing, the seeds should be soaked in warm water and germinated.
Sowing time of potted five-colored peppers: Potted five-colored peppers are suitable for sowing in the middle of March in spring. When sowing, the ground temperature should be above 10℃, and the plastic film must be covered. It can also be sown from late April to early May, when the ground temperature is high, it is not necessary to cover the plastic film.
Sowing temperature of colorful pepper: colorful pepper is suitable for sowing at the temperature of 15-34℃, and the suitable temperature for germination is above 25℃, and the suitable temperature for seedling growth is 20℃. If plastic film is used for heat preservation, it can be sowed all year round.
Five-color pepper sowing method
1, Seeding and seedling raising: Soak the five-colored pepper seeds with warm water before sowing, plant them in the seedbed after the seeds grow white spots, cover them with a layer of fine sand, sprinkle with a layer of plant ash, and cover them tightly with plastic film. When they grow into three real leaves, the plastic film can be removed.
2. Soil preparation and transplanting: When 5-6 leaves of colorful peppers grow, they can be transplanted into the field. Before transplanting, sufficient base fertilizer should be applied in the field, mainly organic fertilizer, and appropriate amount of phosphate fertilizer and urea should be added, and the plant spacing should be controlled at about 30 cm.
3. Field management: After transplanting, water it in time to keep the soil moist, topdressing it in time at flowering stage, applying 15 kg urea per mu, and applying some plant vitality elements during the growing period, so as to avoid falling leaves, flowers and fruits.

Five-colored pepper seeds should be soaked for about 4-6 hours before sowing, so that the five-colored pepper seeds will germinate faster in slightly moist sand.
Seeding and emergence of colorful peppers
The vigor of five-colored pepper seeds is different. If seeds are soaked for several hours, they can germinate by using peat and keeping the germination temperature at 20-28℃ for 10-20 days.
