Are sun-dried devil fish poisonous?
Toxic. Devilfish contain a toxin called glycine sulfate, which does not disappear even after drying, and the release of the toxin is accelerated in high temperature environments, so sun-dried devilfish are likely to be poisonous. Devilfish belongs to the order Chondrichthyes, family Mantaenidae, and it contains two genera, the preglottic manta rays and the manta rays. The body is diamond-shaped, more than 6m wide, body greenish brown.
