In 2006, it was renamed Changsha Vocational and Technical College. in January 2007, Changsha Automobile Driving and Maintenance Vocational College was merged into Changsha Vocational and Technical College. in March 2009, Changsha Lei Feng Vocational College was merged into Changsha Vocational and Technical College.
