1. Many neurasthenia cases diagnosed in the past meet the current standards of depression or anxiety. However, in some cases, neurasthenia is described more appropriately than any other nervous system syndrome. When using the diagnostic categories of neurasthenia, depression and anxiety should be excluded first. Schizophrenia patients can have symptoms similar to neurasthenia in the early stage, but the pain is not obvious and the desire for treatment is not strong. With the development of the course of disease and the appearance of mental symptoms, it is not difficult to distinguish.
2. Schizophrenia, neurasthenia symptoms may appear in the early and remission stages of schizophrenia, but patients don't care about the condition and don't need treatment urgently, and have corresponding psychotic symptoms to identify; Differential diagnosis of depression is often difficult, especially for patients with mild depression, who are often misdiagnosed as neurasthenia. Because patients with depression often have symptoms such as insomnia, fatigue, inattention, listlessness and various physical discomfort. The two types of symptoms are similar, and there are no corresponding positive signs in physical examination. For example, ignoring the examination of patients with depression often leads to misdiagnosis. Therefore, the clinical diagnosis of neurasthenia must exclude depression. Depression patients are characterized by depression, loss of pleasure, loss of interest in daily life, self-blame, guilt, and often have negative suicidal thoughts. The patient's symptoms may be characterized by mild rhythmic fluctuations in the morning and evening. Early awakening is the characteristic of depressive sleep disorder. The course of depression can be relieved periodically.
3. Chronic fatigue syndrome is a group of obstacles that are mainly manifested as fatigue and cannot be solved by rest. The syndrome lasted for more than half a year, and no medical or mental illness causing fatigue was found. Often accompanied by low fever, sore throat, lymph node pain, myasthenia, muscle pain, joint pain, headache, persistent fatigue, mental and psychological symptoms, such as irritability, forgetfulness, inattention, thinking difficulties, depression and sleep disorders (manifested as excessive sleep or insomnia). Physical examination found low fever (37.6℃-38.6℃), no exudative pharyngitis, and swollen and tender lymph nodes in the front and back of neck or pharyngeal isthmus. Objective signs such as low fever, sore throat, swollen lymph nodes and tenderness are helpful to distinguish from neurasthenia.
4, mental weakness can take a proper rest, relax, don't immerse yourself in bitterness and unhappiness.
