① Enema is contraindicated in patients with pregnancy, acute abdomen, severe cardiovascular disease, etc.
② When giving an enema to a patient with typhoid fever, the solution should not exceed 500ml and the pressure should be low (the liquid level should not exceed 30cm beyond the anus).
③For patients with hepatic coma, do not use soapy water for enema to reduce the production and absorption of ammonia.
④Enema with 0.9% sodium chloride solution is prohibited for patients with congestive heart failure and water and sodium retention.
⑤ During the enema process, you should always pay attention to the changes in the patient's condition. If you notice pulse speed, pale face, cold sweat, severe abdominal pain, palpitation and shortness of breath, you should stop the enema immediately and contact the doctor in time to take first aid. measure.
⑥The liquid should be retained for 30 minutes during the cooling enema. 30 minutes after defecation, the body temperature should be measured and recorded.
