Introduction Yu Guangzhong:

Yu Guangzhong, 1928 was born in Nanjing, and his ancestral home is Yongchun, Fujian. My mother was originally from Wujin, Jiangsu, so she also called herself "Jiangnan".

1952 Graduated from the Department of Foreign Languages of Taiwan Province University. 1959, Master of Arts, University of LOWA, USA. He has taught at Soochow University in Taiwan Province, Taiwan Province Normal University, Taiwan Province University and Taiwan Province University of Political Science. During this period, he was invited by the State Council twice to be a visiting professor in many American universities. 1972 professor and director of western languages department of Taiwan Province political university. 1974 to 1985, professor of Chinese Department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. 1985 Up to now, he has served as a professor and lecturer at Sun Yat-sen University in Taiwan, including six years as dean of the College of Literature and director of the Institute of Foreign Languages.
