1. Low-temperature preservation
Put the crabs in a foam box with ice packs and cover it with a layer of thatch for insulation. Then place the foam box in a cool place. This method can generally preserve live crabs for seven days.
2. Water conservation
If you want to preserve live crabs, you must choose a bucket with smooth and deep inner walls, then fill it with water and put the crabs into the bucket. Be careful not to put the crabs in the bucket. Arrange them in layers to prevent the crabs from being unable to breathe normally, leading to premature death. In addition, the crabs should be replaced with clean water every day.
3. Towel covering
After re-tying the crabs, place them in a container or plate with water, cover the crabs with a wet towel, and then put them in the refrigerator Refrigerate, be careful that the towel is not too dry, you need to maintain moisture, otherwise the crab will die from dryness.
Specific method:
1. We first find a bucket that is just big enough to lay the crabs flat on the bottom of the bucket. Because if the crabs are crowded together, they will fight and crawl around, or even suffocate to death, which is not conducive to the preservation of the crabs. Then pour water, no more than half the height of the crab, to prevent the crab from drowning.
2. At this time, you still need to find a few paper cups at home. Just use them for drinking water. Just fill them with about half a cup of water.
3. Then put the cup filled with water in the freezer layer of the refrigerator and wait until it freezes before taking it out for use.
4. After taking it out, add water to the cup and leave it for a few minutes. The ice cubes will begin to melt for a while, turning the added water to 0 degrees.
5. Finally, use ice water to pour evenly on the crabs. You can pour water every half an hour. In this way, there will be no problem in preserving the crabs for a month. However, do not put the ice directly. Putting it on the crab will cause it to freeze to death. The interval will also depend on the weather and temperature at that time.
