1. Chestnuts are cooked in different pots and the time taken is also different. It usually takes about 20 minutes to cook in an ordinary pot. Put the cut chestnuts into the pot, add water, just enough to cover the chestnuts a little, then turn on high heat and bring to a boil. After about 15 minutes, turn to low heat and cook for a few seconds. After a few minutes, turn off the heat and simmer for a while, then take it out.
2. If chestnuts are cooked in a pressure cooker, it usually takes about 10 minutes. Put the cut chestnuts into the pressure cooker, add a little water, cover the pot and turn on the heat. After the pressure cooker starts to steam, turn off the pressure cooker. Release the pressure from the fire, open the lid and cook for another 2 minutes, then pour out the water.
