Kang Hui Group recommends three plans, see which one you like.
plan a:
Marco Polo Temple-a half-day visit to the Grand Sanba Scenic Area (covering 9% of the important historical sites in Macao)
Marco Polo Temple was built in 1488 and is one of the most famous historical sites in Macao. Starting from Mage Temple, along Maluo Street, Gaolou Street, St. Lawrence's Church Street and Longsongzheng Street to the main road of Asia-Pacific Ribeiro, you basically walk through the old-fashioned small streets in Macao, where you can get close contact with the production of ordinary Macao people, and from time to time you can find street snack bars with decades of history. Along the way, you can pass through 1 scenic spots: Port Authority Building (formerly Macau Barracks), Yapojing Qiandi (the earliest settlement in Macau), Zhengjia Mansion (the best-preserved century-old mansion in Macau), St. Lawrence's Church (one of the three ancient churches in Macau), St. Kuther Monastery, Gangding Qiandi (European-style teaching gathering place), Gangding Theater (the first western-style theater in China), St. Austin Church and Ho Tung Library.
Beyond the main road in Italy, there is the famous Sanba scenic spot, including the front of the pavilion, the big fort, the Catholic Art Museum, the Macao Museum, the San Antonio Hall, the old Christian cemetery (where the famous painter Chenery lies), the front of the dove's nest, and the dove's nest park (also known as Jia Meishi Park, where the greatest Portuguese poet Jia Meishi once lived for some time).
Plan B:
Mage Temple-one day at the new port (historical scenic spots, business districts and nightlife are all wiped out, and the trip is relatively tight)
Visit the historical and cultural scenic spots in the morning, take the bus to Landmark Square after lunch, visit many top hotels along Friendship Avenue, and do shopping in Yaohan, the largest shopping mall in Macau. Depart at 22: pm and take a taxi to the new port at the southeast end of Macao Peninsula (referred to as "ZAPE" for local people). The new port is a key area for the Macao government to develop tourism, with large casinos, luxury hotels and characteristic parks, racing museums, wine museums, bronze Guanyin statues and other attractions. At night, it is a nightlife resort with more than 5 characteristic bars.
Plan C:
2-3 days free trip (in-depth experience of Macao)
On the first day, you can focus on sightseeing and shopping according to Plan B.
The next day, I went to Taipa Island. Macao is composed of Macao Peninsula, two outlying islands, Taipa Island and Coloane Island. Two bridges and a road connect the three parts facing each other across the sea. Most mainland tourists only stay in Macao Peninsula when they go to Macao. In fact, outlying islands also have a unique charm.
In Rua do Cunha, south of Taipa Island, Dibao Street is a famous food street and "Shouxin Street" in Macau. Chinese and western restaurants are full of Shouxin shops (specialty stores) selling local specialties such as almond cakes, chicken cakes, alkali-cut crisp, pork jerky and kinky candy. Rua do Cunha was turned into the first pedestrian food street in Macau 23 years ago. The shops here are relatively simple in decoration and the local characteristics are more prominent. Businessmen in Bunker Street are decorated in a much more magnificent way. Except for a few local restaurants and telephone stations, most of them deal in Japanese and Southeast Asian cuisines. Portuguese restaurants, shark fin noodle soup, crab porridge, egg tarts, almond cakes, bird's nest cakes and pig bag on these two streets are all authentic.
