-Remembering the children’s trip to the Zhang Leping Memorial Hall in search of Sanmao
#educationListen to Me# "Sanmao Wanderings" has been a long-lasting childhood memory for many generations. As a hometown person of Mr. Zhang Leping, the author of "Sanmao Wanderings", how can we not be familiar with Mr. Zhang Leping's life?
In the past, how could we not tell the past and present life of wandering little Sanmao?
On Wednesday, as the weather cleared after the snow, all the children in my daughter’s class, led by their teacher, boarded the bus and began their long-awaited trip to the Zhang Leping Memorial Hall to search for Sanmao.
There was laughter and laughter all the way. When we arrived at the Zhang Leping Memorial Hall in Qiyuan Scenic Area, the warm winter sun shone through the treetops on the children’s faces. They were little faces full of childishness but eager for new knowledge.
!
The first thing that catches the eye are the characters "Zhang Leping Memorial Hall" inscribed by the literary giant Mr. Ba Jin. They are clear, simple and full of character.
Mr. Ba Jin’s ancestral home is said to be Jiaxing, and his literary works have the same theme as Mr. Zhang Leping’s cartoons, with the theme of seeking truth and doing good.
I secretly speculated that perhaps this was the original intention of Mr. Sir's inscription.
The children have not yet read "Family Spring and Autumn", and I hope they can also admire the footprints left by this literary master if they have the opportunity.
Entering the foyer, the children's first stop is the exhibition hall of Mr. Zhang Leping's life and deeds.
The exhibition hall is divided into several parts in the form of display of works and text descriptions to introduce the husband's life and past.
Part One: Reeds are used as pens, and the beach is paper. The source of this sentence should be the idiom "Hua Di teaches children" in "The Biography of Ouyang Xiu in the History of Song Dynasty". It is quoted in Mr. Leping's family background and childhood enlightenment stage, so that children can learn from the easy-to-understand
Between the lines, you can understand the hardship and unremitting persistence experienced by our ancestors to achieve excellence, and thus understand how to cherish the learning opportunities in front of us.
While listening to the little instructor's introduction, the children exclaimed that reeds can also be used as pens. I believe that this exploration will be of far-reaching significance.
Part 2: First entering the comics industry, influenced by his famous era and family background, Mr. Zhang Leping began to go to Shanghai at the age of 15 to start his independent livelihood. In the following years, he did not change his original intention of loving painting, and he successively
After working as an apprentice, draftsman, and illustrator, he gradually made a name for himself in the painting world. In 1935, he created the image of "San Mao", an orphan from the old society, aiming to express the suffering life of street children in old China and expose the unreasonable social system.
Mr. Zhang Leping's creation, which is full of compassion and care, led to the feature films and puppet films about Sanmao that have been passed down to this day and still deeply attract us.
Part Three: Using pens as swords and guns, painters go to the battlefield. Children in peacetime may think that war is a legend. However, in Mr. Leping’s youth, our motherland was indeed invaded and countless children were displaced.
In 1937, when the Anti-Japanese War broke out, Mr. Leping used his paintbrush as a sword and spear, led an anti-Japanese and national salvation cartoon propaganda team, and joined the revolution to fight for the independence of the motherland and the freedom and happiness of the people.
Part 4: Carefully painted masterpieces with far-reaching influence. After the end of the Anti-Japanese War, Mr. Leping returned to Shanghai to continue comic creation.
Still retaining the image of Sanmao, "Sanmao's Journey into the Army" and "Sanmao's Wanderings" began to be serialized in newspapers and periodicals.
These handed down comics have a profound influence on generations of people.
Today, the injustices of the old society and the many sufferings that Sanmao experienced are all due to the painter's feelings for his family and country and his care for our young people and children.
Part 5: Open up an artistic path and adapt to the new situation. After the liberation of the motherland, Mr. Zhang Leping continued to create art while selling his works for charity to raise funds to establish the "Sanmao Paradise" for street children.
That's right, this is the predecessor of the "Sanmao Paradise" we often visit now.
At the same time, the old man also painted for children in many children's newspapers and magazines, and went to schools and children's palaces to tutor children.
He has won the title of "National Advanced Children's Worker" many times!
Part 6: Picking up the pen again after the disaster, the old man shows his glory. The "tribulation" here is also a serious trauma in the modern history of China. I believe that as children learn and read history, they will have a deeper understanding.
Along with the little commentator's explanations, the children admired the pictures one by one, read the paragraphs of text introductions, thought deeply, or sighed.
Is life convenient?
