In the 4th year of Keio (1868), in March (and the previous month), the governor of Aoyu Town, which was controlled by the new government forces, decided to crusade against Huijin Francisco with a smile. Aoyu Zhufan thought that the crusade against Huijin Fanfan would affect the whole body, so in April, Runyun collectively submitted a petition to the Governor's Office, striving for a lighter treatment of Huijin Fanfan. However, Shi Liang Xiuzang, representing the new government forces, rejected the petition, and the Sendai vassals assassinated Shi Liang Xiuzang in Fukushima for this reason. On May 3rd, 25 San Francisco, including Sendai San Francisco, Misawa San Francisco, Akita San Francisco, Morioka San Francisco and Erben Matsumoto San Francisco, formed the Aoyu Liefan Alliance to fight against the new government forces, and then seven San Francisco, including Changgang San Francisco and Xinfa Tian San Francisco from North Vietnam, joined, so far the Aoyu Liefan Alliance includes 32 San Francisco.

On May 16th, the front line in Hokuriku, which started with the battle of Baihekou, gradually expanded to the coastal countries of Pingxie, Pinghe and Huijin. The allied forces of Aoyu Liefan (the old shogunate army) were losing ground because of improper tactics and backward weapons. In July, Akita Francisco left the alliance, and then Sanchun Francisco surrendered. On July 27, the new government forces took over Sanchun Francisco and marched into my palace.

Although Erbensongcheng correctly judged the trend of the new government forces and strengthened its defense, the number of remaining vassals was limited due to the previous surge in Baihe. Two Songfan lords, Dan Yu Changguo, fled to Mize, and his family, Dan Yu No.1 School, organized two Songfan youths over 6 and children aged 12-18 to form two Songfan youth teams. The youth team, headed by Taro Kimura, was deployed at Datankou in the south of the city. On the morning of the 29th, the Gongzhongkou in the east was first broken by the new government forces, and a fierce battle was also launched at Datankou. In the battle, all the members of the youth team were killed, and Dan Yu committed suicide by caesarean section after setting fire to the city.

Sixteen members of the youth team who died in battle were buried in Dajing Temple, where the tombs of the lords of Erbensong dynasties were located.
