Qipanshan Ice and Snow World has dense forests, undulating mountains and vast ice surface, covering an area of 500,000 square meters. Every winter, snowflakes fly here, everything is white, and there is a snowy style.
In winter, the daytime temperature here is-15℃-5℃, and the snow quality is good. Qipanshan Ice and Snow World has become a large-scale ice and snow leisure place with rich projects and complete facilities in Northeast China. More than 30 activities featuring sports, entertainment, adventure and excitement have been held in the scenic spot.
The ice and snow activities in the scenic area are divided into two areas:
The southern region is an alpine ski area, with1000m, 800m and 600m long alpine ski resorts and 500m long ski trails respectively. A 200-meter-long children's ski driving range is equipped with two pull-type ski ropeways, a1kloc-0/6-meter high mountain tube-rail slide, time-space swivel chairs, snow circles and other fashion items.
The ski resort is also equipped with two large-scale ski equipment warehouses with a building area of 2,000 square meters, and there are ski clothes rental, tourist souvenir shops, storage rooms, infirmary and so on.
There are 400-meter-long international standard circular skating rink, children's amusement park, racecourse, camel garden, horse sledge, monkey sledge, sheep sledge and dog sledge, as well as ice ploughing, ice sculpture, snow mountain climbing and tug-of-war competitions.
There are also snowmobiles, children's snowmobiles, go-karts, all kinds of racing cars, snowmobile manned parachutes, a number of ice and snow slides, fireworks and firecrackers areas, and dining and entertainment areas. In the 1300 square meter ice and snow activity complex, there are high and middle-grade restaurants, different grades of fast food, VIP rooms, tourist centers and other facilities.
Besides entertainment, there are many snow sculpture and ice sculptures in the world of ice and snow. When skiing, you can take the cable car to the starting point of the mountain, and at the same time, you can climb the mountain to enjoy the northern scenery covered with snow and pine forests. There are night skiing events in the world of ice and snow, and skiers may wish to experience something different from the daytime.
