Let Travel Change Life
Title: Food, Prayer and Love
"Either you study or you travel, your body and mind will always be on the road."
In the past few years, when I was trapped by the epidemic, I traveled less, read more books and watched more movies, and my body couldn't be on the road, so I let my mind be on the road.
Food, Prayer and Love is a record of travel and a journey to find self and balance.
Liz is a popular novelist in her thirties. In the eighth year after her marriage, she realized that the present carefree life was not what she wanted. Resolutely divorced, embarked on a journey of discovery to Italy, India, Bali, with the help of travel to think about life, find yourself and find a balance.
First stop, Italy, food and love.
The fast-paced life often makes people ignore the delicious food. Liz, who came to Italy, talked about love with food, gained energy from food and rekindled her enthusiasm for life.
Before leaving Italy, Liz spent Thanksgiving with her new friends from other countries. They held hands and said words of gratitude. Some people made fun of her, others were solemn: grateful to her family, grateful to her lover and grateful to God. It's Liz's turn. She said that she was grateful to see a group of happy people caring for and helping each other. She was lucky enough to see and participate in it, and she was the luckiest person.
second stop, India, meditation and calm.
after leaving Italy, Liz went to India. She studied mind-body balance and practiced meditation in India.
When I first started practicing meditation, every time I just sat down, the past came rushing to her, and she was so upset that she couldn't continue to meditate.
Then Liz gradually realized that only by facing the past calmly can she find inner peace.
Liz learned to face herself bravely in meditation, and tried to listen to her true inner voice. At first, she was upset, and later, her upset heart returned to calm.
third stop, Bali, imbalance and balance.
"Sometimes, losing balance because of love is also a manifestation of life balance."
Liz returned to Bali, which inspired her to change with her recovered self, but her inner balance was broken by an unexpected love arrival.
She runs away, is confused and angry, and is afraid of returning to a chaotic life.
Liz is going to leave Bali. Before leaving for the airport, she said goodbye to the witch doctor who inspired her. The witch doctor heard that Liz gave up love, but told her that sometimes losing her balance because of love is also a manifestation of life balance.
In the end, Liz accepted this love and found inner peace and a way to balance true love.
I hope everyone can find inner peace. "Laugh on your face, from your heart and even from your liver."
