Xiapu is the hometown of kelp in China and laver in China. Its laver and kelp are famous at home and abroad. Kelp leaves are long and narrow, there are no branches, and the plants are strong. Fresh kelp is olive brown and shiny, while dry kelp is dark brown and tender and soft. The salty kelp knot of the finished product is emerald green, perishable when cooking, sticky and refreshing, mellow in taste and extremely rich in nutrition.
2. Jane Yan
Funing Bay is the only sea area in China that can form blade fishing industry. In other words, shaving blades are not found anywhere else. It is a mollusk that grows in beach soil, with a rectangular shell and a light brown shell, and lives in coastal silt. Its meat is fresh and tender, with high protein content and sweet taste. One of the most famous is "Jianyan", which breeds on the beach of Jianyan Village in Jiangsha Shatang.
3. Bitter snail
The snail meat is crisp and the snail tail is bitter. Locals like to stir-fry snail meat after knocking it out, adding a little spicy taste, which has a unique taste. Xiapu's unique way of eating is bitter snail bibimbap. Usually food stalls are used for steaming and eating. It is delicious.
