There are about ten subway stations that can handle it. I left at Jiaomen West (the first two stops of Beijing South Railway Station on Line 4).

Hu Da in Guijie Street is recommended for eating (it's super hot, it's said that many stars go there, and three branches in two blocks face to face are all full when we go there. It only takes a little over an hour. You can sit in the first and second class seats of this Harmony, and it runs every hour. The ticket for Badaling Great Wall is 45 yuan. The ropeway seems to be a two-way trip. In fact, the open section of Badaling is not long, but it is steep in many places. It only took us two hours to walk up and down, but since you are taking the elderly, you can consider the cableway. Take Harmony back to the North Station. If you are hungry after the meal, you can find something to eat at the Kaide mall next to you.

In terms of accommodation, we found a Spring Morning Hotel next to Nanluoguxiang, with a standard room of 121 (you need to bargain, just say that others recommend it). We were surprised to find such a cheap place in Nanluoguxiang, where the accommodation conditions were not very good, but the bed was relatively clean, with hot baths and free wifi. The key is the excellent geographical location, which is located next to Nangong and Houhai. You don't have to worry about going shopping at night! There are subway stations and bus stations next to it, and it is convenient to go anywhere. There is also a Super 8, and a standard room costs about 211 yuan. I still recommend staying in Nanluo Gu Xiang, where the atmosphere is so good and the transportation is convenient.
