2. Send lucky money. Sending lucky money is an important part of Chaozhou Spring Festival custom. The money can't be sent directly to wait for a while, but should be packed in a market-friendly bag or wrapped in a piece of red paper. 3. Happy New Year. When people get up and put on new clothes in the first day of junior high school, the first thing they do is to pay homage to themselves. It is often that the younger generation wishes their elders first, and then the elders give their expectations to the younger generation.

4. chun sheng. During the Spring Festival, another distinctive folk activity in Chaozhou is "Cuan chun sheng" (Spring, a three-or four-story bamboo basket with a lid, is usually used in pairs, so it is also called "Cuan chun sheng").

5. After the 24th day of the twelfth lunar month, every family will steam rice cakes, mainly for the sake of worshipping God. In these two days, all the families, old and young, get together to make rice cakes, and the Chaoshan area is called "Guo", which is also the happiest day for children.
