Wang's father and son (Wang Niansun and Wang) are outstanding representatives of Ganjia School and the backbone scholars of Yangzhou School. Wang and his son not only systematically sorted out many literature classics, but also made fruitful achievements in phonology, literature, exegetics and other specialized fields. There are many works by Wang and his son, among which Guangya Shuzheng, Reading Magazine, Jing Yi and Jingci are collectively called "Four Kinds of Gaoyou Wangs", which are the most famous works of Ganjia School. Wang and his son advocated and practiced the exegetical method of "using ancient sounds to prove ancient meanings", which pushed the research and exploration of exegetics to a glorious peak. They said, "Gaoyou Wang Xue" has become synonymous with academic masters, and it has epoch-making significance in exegetics, which can be described as "the study of one family, chinese odyssey".
Wang Memorial Hall displays various versions of Wang and his son's works, as well as various monographs of modern experts and scholars commenting on Wang and his son's exegesis and paintings and calligraphy works commemorating Wang and his son. The museum covers an area of 1000 square meters, with a huge scale. It was renovated in the early 1980s and opened to the outside world.
