Xinzhou District is a municipal district under the jurisdiction of Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China, and it is one of the far urban areas of Wuhan City. In June 1951, Xinzhou County was established and transferred to Huanggang. In August 1983, it was placed under the jurisdiction of Wuhan City, and in September 1998, it was removed from the county and divided into districts. Xinzhou District is located in the northeast of Wuhan City, near Huanggang City. Scenic spots in the area include: Fengwa Ancient Village, zhangdu lake, Xinzhou Confucius Temple, Xu Yuanquan's former residence, Daoguan River Scenic Area and other places.

1. Fengwa Guzhai, located in Xinzhou District, Wuhan City, is a comprehensive cultural tourism scenic spot integrating ancient architecture display, folk experience, antique exchange, leisure and vacation, Chinese culture health preservation and special cuisine. The park has the largest collection of ancient buildings in Ming and Qing Dynasties and the largest exhibition base of folk customs in Central China, and has more than 2 ancient buildings in Ming and Qing Dynasties, such as Xiangxilou, Guoxuetang, Ceramic Village, Guofu, Taorui Imperial Doctor, Brewery, Theater, Sijunzi Garden, Boyaxuan and Ziyunxuan. Folk Museum and Folk Culture Corridor display tens of thousands of folk collections; Shilai Yunyun Garden is a base for appreciating and trading antiques and jade. Theaters, folk-custom streets and farming experience gardens all embody the traditional culture of China.

2. zhangdu lake, Located at the southeast end of Xinzhou District, Wuhan City, adjacent to the Yangtze River, it is the nearest wetland in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. The lake is 4.5 kilometers wide from east to west and 6 kilometers long from north to south, with an elevation of 17.7 meters at the bottom and a maximum water depth of 2.3 meters. There is a waterlogged embankment along the lake, with an elevation of 23 meters at the top and a water surface of 6, mu, without industrial pollution. Zhangdu lake is the gene bank of migratory fish in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, which is rich in more than 4 kinds of fish such as Pelteobagrus fulvidraco, grass carp, herring, bighead carp and crab. Being in zhangdu lake, there is a vast shadow of "8 Li Dongting Lake", with wide water surface, clear water quality, vast waterscape, uneven lakeshore and numerous inlets. Looking from a height, the calm lake surface is like a jade plate, embedded between the north bank of the Yangtze River and the zhangdu lake Plain, surrounded by willows in three spring, hibiscus in nine summer, fragrant rice and fishing in five hours, which is a scene of love and scenery, all in the "lake".

3. The Confucius Temple in Xinzhou, which is located by the Confucius River in the old street of Xinzhou District, Wuhan, is a folk custom "Confucius Temple". It is named after the story that Confucius traveled all over the world to Chu in The Analects of Confucius, which made him "interested in the road" and drowned. The Academy was founded in the Western Han Dynasty with a history of more than 2, years. Wenjin Academy is the cradle of eastern Hubei literati in Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, and is called the oldest "university" in China. In history, it was as famous as Yuelu Academy, Donglin Academy, Bailudong Academy, etc. From Song Dynasty to Qing Dynasty, there were 387 scholars in the academy, which was recorded in the Journal of Chinese Academy because of its great influence in the history of education and culture in China. Wenjin Academy is located at the foot of the southern foot of Dabie Mountain, with beautiful scenery and outstanding people. In 22, it was awarded to the cultural relics protection unit of Hubei Province. It is the only Confucius relic in Hubei Province and one of the best preserved ancient academies in Wuhan and even Hubei Province.
