Today is the winter solstice, we are making dumplings at Bichang School, I am very happy.
I brought bowls, chopsticks, rolling pins and boards.
The teacher prepared flour, meat filling and dough.
Starting to make dumplings, the teacher took out the dough and kneaded it into a thick and long noodle.
Then it was pulled into many uniform small doughs and distributed to the students.
I first knead the small dough into two small balls, then press it gently, and then take out the rolling pin.
The teacher said: "Roll it out on all sides, not the middle." I followed the teacher's instructions, and finally, a round dough piece with a thick middle and thin sides was rolled out.
The teacher put some fragrant meat fillings on our noodles.
I folded the dough sheet in half and pinched it bit by bit along the edge of the dough sheet. The stuffing was like a naughty child. When I pinched it in, it squeezed out. I was so anxious that I almost got angry.
However, I finally got it right.
I looked at the dumplings of several other classmates. Some were listless, lying on the panel like a lazy man; some were like a rocket; some were like steamed buns; and some were like a turtle.
It’s so strange!
The dumplings were cooked, and a strong fragrance floated into the classroom.
The classroom was filled with the aroma of dumplings, and I couldn't wait to eat them all in one bite.
Today, I not only ate dumplings, but also learned about the history of dumplings.
